Maria Tsiobanou is a Diploma Mechanical Engineer of the Aristotle University of Thessaloniki and holds postgraduate degrees in Business Administration (MBA) and Strategic Management from recognized institutions in the United Kingdom. She has many years of substantial experience in the public works sector, as a contractor holding a MEK Class D license in the category of Electromechanical Works, as well as a founding executive and manager of a technical company with continuous activity from 2004 to the present.

At the same time, she has developed a significant institutional presence in the sector, having held key representative and managerial positions, including serving as President of the Panhellenic Association of Contractors of Public Works (PESEDE), member of the Central Delegation of the Technical Chamber of Greece (TEE), as well as member of Boards of Directors of sector-related organizations, actively contributing to the formulation of policies and positions for the development of technical projects in Greece.

Ms. Tsiobanou joined EKTER S.A. in December 2025, with the primary mission of the organized development and strengthening of the company’s presence in Northern Greece, through the planned establishment and operation of a branch office based in Thessaloniki.

Her long-standing technical and managerial experience, combined with her deep knowledge of the institutional framework and sector bodies, is expected to substantially contribute to further enhancing EKTER S.A.’s business development and strategic position in the Greek market.
