ICU BUILDING AT ATHENS GENERAL HOSPITAL

"SOTIRIA"

The project entails the construction of a new ICU building for COVID-19 with a capacity of 50 beds and a total built surface of 2,500 m². The project includes the supply, installation and commissioning of the unit's medical equipment. The unit's furnishings are also included. The project was developed in the surrounding area of the Athens General Hospital for Chest Diseases "SOTIRIA" and was financed by a donation from the GREEK PARLIAMENT.

The project scope comprises the elaboration of the detailed design, the construction of building - E/ M works for the new ICU wing, of the energy building, of the connecting corridor, as well as the arrangement of the surrounding area.

The Contractor's obligation and the design and construction scope also comprise the modification of road access and traffic flow towards the specific building and other buildings, the transfer - relocation of existing E/M networks (above ground - underground), the functional connection of the building and the facilities thereof with the existing hospital infrastructure (if needed) and the supply - installation of the necessary medical equipment (including furnishings).
