Pursuant to Article 4.1.3.4 of the Rulebook of the Athens Stock Exchange, EKTER S.A. hereby announces that by way of a decision of the Ordinary General Assembly of shareholders as at 30 June 2010 the dividend for the fiscal year 2009 amounts to Euro 0.05 per share. Of the said amount, a 10% dividend tax shall be deducted pursuant to Law No. 3697/2008 and therefore the net paid dividend per share shall amount to Euro 0.045.
Monday, 26 July 2009 was set as the dividend cut-off date. Thus from that date onward, company shares will be traded on the Athens Stock Exchange without the right to collect a dividend.
The shareholders of the company who are registered in the records of the Dematerialized Securities System (DSS) on Wednesday, 28 July 2010 (record date) shall be entitled to dividend for the year 2009.
The dividend shall be paid on Monday 2 August 2010 by the paying bank “PIRAEUS BANK S.A.” as follows:
- Via the operators of the DSS, in compliance with article 5.5 of the ASE Rulebook and article 39 of the Operating Regulation of the DSS;
- Through the network of Piraeus Bank branches for those shareholders having requested an exemption from their DSS operator or keep their shares in a Special Account.
- For those shareholders for whom credit via their operators is not possible for various reasons, the dividend may be collected as of Friday 6 August 2010 through the network of Piraeus Bank S.A. branches.
In cases 2 and 2 above, the dividend shall be collected until 31/12/2010 and shall take place following notification of the Investor’s Account Code Number in the DSS and presentation of the Police Identification Card either in person or via their legally authorized representative.
Following the above date (31/12/2010) the dividend shall be paid only at the offices of EKTER S.A., at 15, Nikis St., GR-105 57, tel. 210 3259 700.

Dividends that have not been collected within five (5) years shall be payable to the Greek State.
