ANNOUNCEMENT
The First Athens One-Member Court of First Instance (non-contentious proceedings) heard the petition filed by EKTER S.A. for the appointment of an umpire for the establishment of a court of arbitration to settle the disputes which have arisen during the construction of the New Building Complex of ETHNIKI INSURANCE COMPANY at Syngrou Avenue. The large building complex, which is of exceptional architectural and aesthetic value, was handed over to ETHNIKI INSURANCE COMPANY about two years ago.
The relevant court ruling is expected in about two months.
It should be noted that EKTER S.A. has filed two petitions against ETHNIKI INSURANCE COMPANY, claiming a total of € 11,548,816.18 (plus VAT) for the construction of the above project.
