PRESS NOTE
The company EKTER S.A., announces that according to the decision by the Ordinary General Shareholders’ Meeting held on June 27th 2008, the dividend for financial year 2007 amounts to 0.05 euro per share.
Beneficiaries of the aforementioned dividends are owners of the Company’s shares during the end of the Athens Exchange session on July 29th 2008.
Wednesday July 30th 2008 was set as the ex dividend date. Therefore, from July 30th the company’s shares will be traded on the Athens Exchange without the right to receive dividend.
The dividend payment will take place on August 7th 2008 from the paying agent “PIRAEUS BANK S.A.”, as follows:
- Through official users in the Dematerialized Securities System, according to articles 329 of the Athens Exchange Regulation and 39 of the Regulation of HELLENIC EXCHANGES S.A.
- Through the branches of Piraeus Bank, for those shareholders that have requested exemption from their users in the Dematerialized Securities System, or who have their shares in a Special Account.
- For shareholders that, for several reasons, cannot be credited through their users, receipt of the dividend will be available from August 13th 2008 through the Branches of “PIRAEUS BANK S.A.”.
The collection of the dividend for the aforementioned cases 2 and 3, is possible until 31/12/2008 and takes place with disclosing the Investor Account Number in the Dematerialized Securities System and with the official ID, either by the investor or by a legally authorized representative.
Following the aforementioned date (31/12/2008) the dividend payment will take place only from the offices of “EKTER S.A.” at the address 15 Nikis Str., Syntagma, 105 57 Athens Greece, tel. + 30 210 3259 700.
