Favourable opinion of the Plenary Session of the Council of State on the draft Presidential Decree for the Special Urban Plan at the “Kolymbithres” site, Paros
“EKTER S.A.” (the “Company”), further to its previous announcements regarding the investment project for tourism development in the “Kolymbithres” area of Paros, informs the investing public that Processing Record No. 68/2026 of the Plenary Session formation of the Council of State has been issued, whereby it was held that the draft Presidential Decree for the approval of the Special Urban Plan (SUP) at the “Kolymbithres” site of the Municipal Community of Naoussa, Municipality of Paros, over property with a total area of 327.84 acres owned by the Company, is lawfully proposed.
This favourable opinion, issued by the Plenary Session of the Council of State, constitutes a substantial milestone in the licensing process of the project. The SUP concerns the development of an organised tourism facility of a mild form and of supra-local significance, designed with a view to protecting the natural, cultural and archaeological environment and to harmonisation with the overlying spatial planning framework.
The financing of the project, with a total budget of €53.3 million, is secured and comprises funding through the Recovery and Resilience Facility (RRF), bank lending and the Company’s own participation.
The draft Presidential Decree will follow the prescribed procedures for its publication in the Government Gazette.
The Company will keep the investing public informed of any material development, in accordance with applicable legislation.
